Just visiting the site. Served in the British Army (Infantry) for 24 years. I have not served with an Airborn Unit bur am an Hororary Member of the Parachute Regiment Association here in Derby (England). Interestingly, 5 members of the Paras actually served in my Regiment until transferring to Para. So, I am made to feel at home. At the American Military Cemetery in the town called Margraten (the Netherlands) I adopted the grave of Adrian Hoskins. He was fighting for our freedom during the Second World War. Someone told me that probably his dad was in prison in the 1930’s, that is the only thing I know until now about him. Incase you knew Adrian Hoskins, I hereby want to ask you if you maybe can help me to gather more information about the soldier whom grave I adopted. I am pointing on information like; how did he look like, when and where he has been born, where he lived, if he had family, how he spent his youth, at what base he had his education, what kind of division he was serving, where he was fighting, the way he died, if he had medailles and if there are relatives who are still alive and so on. My brother, Gregory, is a former 82nd Airborne member and is presently a patient at the Denver VA Nursing Unit. While in Vietnam, he was a member of the 101st, but when he came back, he was assigned to the 82nd. He always mentions attending a "Raider" school,but cannot find any information about it. I would like more iformation on your chapter if you dont mind. I served at ft. bragg from August 3,1999 to August 2, 2002. I was part of the 1/504PIR D.Co. I found out resently that my pld company lost more many in Iraq then the rest of the other company from an old Army buddy. Well I hoppe to hear from your chapter soon thanks.
